Choose the Atlas Mountains if...
You want to actually be in the mountains, not just look at them. Imlil is the gateway to Mount Toubkal, North Africa's highest peak, and the day trip includes real Berber villages, walnut groves, and genuine hiking terrain. It's also noticeably cooler than the city — a real relief if you're visiting in summer.
