Things to Do in Marrakech in December
December is a strong month for exploring Marrakech because daytime temperatures are generally more comfortable for walking than in summer. The trade-off is cooler mornings and evenings, especially outside the city and in the mountains.
Explore the Medina comfortably
Cooler daytime conditions make longer walks through the Medina, palaces and souks easier. Use the shorter daylight hours efficiently and keep evening activities closer to your accommodation if you prefer a relaxed pace.
Atlas Mountains in December
The High Atlas can be substantially colder than Marrakech and higher peaks may have snow. Bring layers and suitable shoes. Road and trail conditions should be checked locally before mountain activities.
Agafay evenings
