It asks nothing of you but to sit back and enjoy it, which makes it a favourite with families and anyone who wants the camel experience without a desert expedition.
Go at golden hour and the light through the palms is beautiful. Many rides include a stop for mint tea, and you can often dress in a traditional headscarf for photos. It's short, sweet and a lovely hour out — easily paired with a quad tour or a Palmeraie visit.
